This product replaces the OEM E36 instrument cluster dimmer cover, which could also come with a volt meter added in the vacant space. This is a direct replacement, super simple plug-and-play. A simple 2-wire 12v positive and negative wiring is required if you opt for the volt meter. Our design greatly improves overall rigidity and structural integrity, made with premium quality thermal-resistant carbon fiber material, built to last another 20 years!
